全日本刀匠会近畿地方支部では、和歌山県田辺市田辺歴史民俗資料館(田辺市文化交流センター　たなべる)にて「現代日本刀展」を開催致します。
近畿地方支部所属の刀匠による太刀・刀・短刀などを約１４振展示。重要無形文化財保持者の故月山貞一刀匠(奈良)の作品も参考展示致します。
期間中の週末は支部所属の刀匠が会場にて解説を行っております。
皆様のご来場をお待ち致しております。

「第１４回お守り刀展覧会佐世保会場」2/20(木)~3/13(金)

古来よりお守り刀は、作刀・刀剣研磨・木工芸・金工芸・漆芸・組紐と日本伝統美術工芸の粋を集めて製作されてきました。今回も、全国の刀匠・刀職者から作品を公募し、審査・表彰された新作のお守り刀を展覧。第1席の文部科学大臣賞や国際賞である駐日ポーランド共和国大使賞を受賞した作品をはじめ、現代刀匠たちの精魂込めた技の結晶をご覧ください。

The 5th Sword Oshigata Art Competition Division Guidelines

From June 13 (Sat), 2020, the NBSK the 5th Sword Oshigata Art competition will be held in tandem with the 11th Japanese Sword Craftsmens’ Exhibition/Competition.

The Sword Oshigata Art competition proved very popular among our staff, the craftsmen, and our members. Due to its success, we realized the importance of oshigata in the promotion of Japanese swords, and giving the general public a deeper understanding of them, so decide to include them in the exhibition. Therefore, we warmly invite you to try your hand at producing oshigata, and enter our competition.

※ Oshigata in temporary mountings with temporary fixings are acceptable.

The 11th Japanese Sword Craftsmens’ Exhibition/Competition Guide

Greetings,

We thank you for your interest in the Nihonto Bunka Shinko Kyokai (NBSK), and look forward to your valued contributions and support of the NBSK’s future activities.

In 2020, the NBSK as a foundation for public interest will hold the exhibition for the 11th Japanese Sword Craftsmens’ Exhibition in The Sakaki-machi Museum of Tetsu in Sakaki-machi, Hanishina county, Nagano prefecture who are also the co-sponsors. The exhibition as stated below Minister Award and so forth, awarded to outstanding works in the competition. The results of which will be widely published. Based of last years results, we expecting to see more this year.

This year, in addition to the regular categories of sword making, polishing, and mountings, there will be an additional section for Sword Oshigata Art. For further information, please read the separate Sword Oshigata Art Guidelines sheet.

We would therefore advise all those interested in entering the competition to pay close attention to the following guidelines.

当協会設立１０周年記念祝賀会開催御礼

　12月6日(金)午後3時より千代田区永田町にあります「憲政記念館」にて、「公益財団法人日本刀文化振興協会設立10周年記念祝賀会」が盛大に開催されました。
　当日は議員連盟、刀剣商業協同組合、各職方、愛刀家、刀剣女子と言われる方々など、各方面の皆さま合計170名にものぼるご出席を賜り、和やかな雰囲気で閉会まで談笑の輪が絶えることはありませんでした。
　途中でサプライズプレゼントとして、刀職者自ら製作した小刀、文鎮、兵庫鎖イヤリング、銘切りプレート、サイン入りマンガ「KATANA」、刃文入りグラス、鶴丸のカフスセットなど特色あるお品をお渡しすることが出来、ご参加の皆さまに喜んでいただきました。
　また開始前より、別室にて重要無形文化財保持者桂盛仁様、故天田昭次元理事長、本阿彌光洲前理事長の作品や、各種刀剣・刀装具の「特別展示」を行い当協会ならではの展示もお楽しみいただきました。
　末筆になりましたが、これまで、当協会をご支援いただいた皆様に御礼を申し上げますと共に、今後も変わらぬご支援を賜りますようお願い申し上げます。
